Description: Braided basket of sunflowers and cattails cake (Chez Valou).
Decorated on May 6th 2006, rush, for my neighbors. They called 1 day before the day they needed it! But they let me choose the cake... and didn't care about how much time I would've spent on this one since it was in my "Desired cake to do" list. It took me though 4h15min to do it! All the flowers were a premiere for me: I have never worked with the special tips. The green part of the cattails are linguinis painted with green colorant and the brown part, royal icing. I wanted it to be perfect... is it? ;-) (L'Epiphanie)
